CREAMY MUSSELS
Wash the mussels well under cold running water. For the crusty bread, rub an open clove of garlic over it just before serving.

10 g butter
2 onions, finely chopped
6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 bay leaf
100 ml dry white wine
1 kg half-shell mussels, debearded and scrubbed
400 ml cream handful parsley, chopped salt and black pepper crusty bread, to serve
1 In a pot over medium heat, cook the butter, onion and garlic until soft. Add bay leaf and wine, and increase the heat to high. Add the mussels, cover and steam for 6 minutes.
