HELP EDUCATE OUR GIRLS As we pass yet another Human Rights Day, let me point out that there are rights that might be impossible to exercise due to poverty. In South Africa, education is a right and not a privilege, but an unfavourable back-ground can unconsciously infringe on this right. There are many girls who come from poor families who miss school because they don’t have sanitary towels when they menstruate.
