A CONNIVING, unscrupulous gangster and pseudo-businessman has made his appearance on SABC1’s Generations:The Legacy, and seems to be a hit with viewers.
Despite still being wrapped in controversy following its off-screen drama that saw 16 principal cast members axed in 2014, the new-look Generations has been lauded as a stylish production. And Tau Mogale’s wicked brother-in-law, Kumkani “Gaddafi” Phakade, played by Vuyo Dabula, is earning his stripes as a compelling soapie villain too.
By contrast,Vuyo (38) is a salt-of-the-earth kind of guy: a committed husband to his wife, Lele, and a devoted father to their six-month-old son. “I’m a husband and a father,” saysVuyo.
This well-mannered and talented actor, who adores his parents too, is an all-round likeable guy. He couldn’t be more different from Gaddafi even if he tried.…
