Capella’s first foray outside Asia has put the Singapore-based brand’s singular stamp on Sydney. After a seven-year restoration and refit of the former Department of Education building at the north end of the city’s CBD, the century-old sandstone landmark now houses 192 rooms and suites, a swanky destination spa, and a skylighted 20-meter swimming pool.
