OVER 200 Cape Flats cops descended on Strand beach last week as they went head to head in a Beach Battle aimed at improving fitness and camaraderie among officers. CALDENE Philander claims that her niece was almost kidnapped from school by a woman claiming to be the child’s mother. Caldene says her niece, who is in Grade 12 at Cedar High School, was approached by an unknown woman on 14 March on the school premises.
