Ingredients
4 leftover patties
2 tablespoons butter
2 large onions, sliced
1 large garlic clove, finely chopped
2 large tomatoes sliced
1 green pepper, sliced
2 green chillies, slit
Leftover thick cut chips
Method
Slice the patties in half, making two thin burgers then cut again into smaller pieces.
In a large pan, melt the butter then add in garlic, onions and top with the slices of tomato and green pepper.
Season with salt and pepper and top with the burger patties and chips.
No need to add water or any spice or sauces.
Cook covered on a low heat, without stirring for 10 to 12 minutes.
Stir well and cook for a further 5 minutes, and serve.
Serve with bread or rolls.…
