“After the big pickled fish run I made it my mission to invite them. Freedom Park is almost like my family, all those people and children,” he says.
Kids lined up in front of Blake’s home in Ottery and they were all excited as some of them had never eaten a marshmallow Easter egg before.
“Their experience was one of excitement. When I sat there, I just got joy. I lived by what God said: it's better to give than to receive.
“It was just ‘Kaptein, Kaptein’ as they almost ran me over,” Blake tells the Daily Voice.
