SOUTH African comedian and TV host Trevor Noah is suing an orthopaedic surgeon over an alleged botched surgery that left him “sick, sore, lame and disabled”.
Dr Riley Williams III performed the procedure at the Hospital for Special Surgery located in New York City, but it is not clear what kind of operation it was, nor what Trevor’s condition was.
The lawsuit, which was filed by Justin Blitz of Schulman Blitz LLP on 29 November in the New York County Supreme Court, states that The Daily Show host suffered from “serious personal injury” which is “permanent, severe and grievous”.
The accused allegedly did not “prescribe proper medications” and failed to “discontinue certain prescription medications”.
