THREE heartless thugs, who held a Strandfontein family at gunpoint on Thursday, will make their first appearance at Mitchells Plain Magistrates’ Court this morning.
The trio were nabbed within minutes after a wakker neighbour called the police as the skelms tried to flee.
The dramatic scene, which required assistance
from a SAPS helicopter, played out in Anker Crescent, Bayview shortly after 11am when the gunmen stormed the house.
Community Police Forum (CPF) chairperson Sandy Schuter says the swift response by Strandfontein cops led to the trio being arrested.
