When we hear the word “diet,” oftentimes our minds think of a passing fad or some sort of trendy experiment of eliminating general food groups for shortterm goals such as weight loss. “Diet” implies restrictions, limitations and a one-size-fits-all mentality. And then we have the exact opposite of this approach in Ayurveda. Before we get into this ever-popular method, let’s back up a bit. Youthful Edge Alexander McQueen’s menswear fall/winter 2021 collection is a continued focus on silhouette, bold volumes and clean lines, along with saturated color and papercut prints. Creative Director Sarah Burton describes that the designs that she oversaw for the collection in terms of silhouette and depth, emphasizing a restrained approach that puts form over facade. Spliced oddities complemented the youthful edge iterated by the pervasive whiff of sportiness. Growing up in Hong Kong, according to British actor Gavin Stenhouse, shaped the way he approaches life and for that, he wouldn’t change it for the world.
