While wrapping up this issue of DAMAN, I couldn’t help but look back at our journey for the past year. It would be an understatement to say that 2020 was challenging. I would like to think, however, that we managed to meet the challenges that came our way. And we even rose to the occasion when new opportunities arose. Case in point: Our continued collaboration with OPPO, which began in our previous October/November 2020 issue, to bring you fashion magazine-quality images, taken by a smartphone camera. Interestingly, this issue’s cover story also reconnected us with an old friend of the magazine, the ever-optimistic Daniel Mananta.
