In the late spring of 2020, when none of us knew what was going to happen next, we were looking at ways to connect with our readers that didn’t involve leaving the house or meeting with other people. Not easy for a cycling magazine.
We came up with the idea of the ‘Max Watts Challenge’. As sales of smart trainers had gone through the roof, we thought it would be fun to get readers to log their maximum power output in a sprint effort.
