Underlining one of the many reasons I am not in the economicforecasting business, I have to admit I never expected what would happen to the motorcycle industry as the coronavirus pandemic altered all our lives. I’m not alone, though, because nobody predicted motorcycle sales would boom.
Earlier this year, as businesses and the economy shut down, the jobless rate shot up, and streets, restaurants, and pretty much any vaguely social activity was put on hold, money froze. Predictions for the economy were dire.
