These cheery llamas love nothing more than trekking around the Andes, showing off their bright accessories and naturally cosy coats. Recreate their fuzzy fleeces here using Madeira’s wool-blend Lana thread! Once you’ve finished stitching, firmly rub the areas of Lana with a wire brush and style using a bristle brush. For many of us, our love of stitching can be traced back to someone in our family. Perhaps a doting aunt took you to your first craft shop, or a loving grandma showed you how to make your fist stitch. Whatever your moment was, it’s been echoed in many families all over the world – a love of stitching is often passed down! And for some of us, tracing our crafting roots can take us on a journey through the generations, thanks to the age-old tradition of samplers.
