Making a stand
Q I love to stitch on the go, but have a bad back. A friend suggested a stand might help. Are there any portable options, Angels?

A Happily, Abi, there are some nifty little portable stands that could be the answer to your predicament. These rest comfortably on your lap, supporting the weight of a frame or hoop, allowing for comfier stitching. We like the Morgan Lap Stand, available on www.amazon.co.uk from £23.59. It’s formed of two differently sized, non-slip embroidery hoops separated by three ‘legs’ that form the stand. Flip it over to use either hoop.
