Warm as toast
Q I was planning to make my grandma a cushion for Christmas, but she said she’d rather have a draught excluder as her house gets so chilly! Is this as easy as making a cushion, Angels?

A Making a draught excluder is indeed quite simple, Hannah – and it’s a great gift alternative to cushions! Find a suitable design, or create your own, to fit an area of about 80x15cm (31½x6in) and stitch onto evenweave or aida. Trim the fabric around your finished stitch, leaving a 2cm (¾in) border.
