Like mother, like daughter
My daughter Gina Sharpe’s brilliantly stitched Rolls Royce 1907 Silver Ghost, which appeared on Crazy’s Letters page in issue 227, does indeed hang in our hallway, admired by many. Gina also stitched a dancer (bottom right) for her step mum, Judy, who is a great devotee of ballet.
In the lounge are three of Gina’s mother Moira’s works of stitching art, as well. The photos show two of these, an alpine scene (bottom left) and a London skyline of old days gone by (top). Moira died in 1990, but her legacy lives on. We’re all nicely stitched together!
