Jane Greenoff “This dear little needle roll began life as a band sampler and was originally designed for one of my linen stitching days at my home, Pinks Barn, here in the beautiful Cotswolds. I have between six and eight classes per year and entertain ten avid stitchers for the day with a new linen project. The general rule is that we work on linen in stranded cottons, but sometimes adding silk or space-dyed threads to the mix. I know that these stitchers love to try new counted stitches so I'll often include hemstitching and a few extra counted stitches as part of the cross stitch design. Once I'd stitched this little band sampler, I had the brainwave of adding the option of making a little needle…
