The Hike & Fly Guide to Central Switzerland is a new book created and published by three Swiss pilot/climber/hikers, Julian Fürsinger, Jonas Käppeli and Dani Perret. It features almost 80 different hike-and-fly routes in the central Swiss Alps (south of Lucerne, centred around Engelberg), from easy morning hikes to epic north faces that require alpine mountaineering skills.
As well as the route descriptions, published in both German and English, there are maps, route information – time needed, height gain, best time of year for the route and any dangers – and photos.
