Spring: Fresh air. Sunshine. Cool mornings and evenings. Rainy days and new life emerging in nature. It’s just so refreshing, and I really get the cleaning bug as many others must for the expression “spring cleaning” to exist. In this issue we bring you beautiful and fun items to get your house spick-and-span. We also have a few afghans that will help you with clearing out some of your yarn scraps that perhaps you accumulated while doing all your winter and holiday gift crocheting. When thinking about what size you want your finished garment to be, you want to consider what you will be wearing with it. Are you wearing this garment over other garments? If you are making a warm layer to wear over other garments you especially want to consider the fit at the armhole. Often a cardigan or coat can be uncomfortably tight at that location, especially if you are wearing a couple layers underneath. If you are planning on wearing foundation garments, like a bra or shaper garments, you will want to consider how that will affect the fit of your garment.
