A Brazilian woman accused of poisoning three members of her husband’s family has been found dead in prison. Deise Moura dos Anjos, 42, was discovered in her cell in Guaíba, Porto Alegre, and initial reports say she died by suicide. She had been in custody since January, following the deaths of Maida Berenice Flores da Silva, 58, Neuza Denize Silva dos Anjos, 65, and Tatiana Silvia dos Santos, 43, who died just hours after consuming a Christmas cake laced with arsenic. Anjos’ mother-in-law, Zeli dos Anjos, and two others survived.
