You're never short of a nibble in the British countryside, with a Great Fryup (Yorkshire) to Guzzle Down (Devon), and one of at least eight Pudding Hills for afters. There are three Sugar Loafs in Wales alone, including one in Powys with its own railway halt (one of the least-used stations in Britain – find it at grid reference SN845439). There's Fudge Copse in Dorset, Pie Corner in Wiltshire, Beer in Devon, Pork Hill on Dartmoor and the splendid Bacon Hole in Dorset (SS560868) where remains of brown bear, cave bear, badger, polecat, fox, wolf, hyena, reindeer, red deer, roe deer, wild ox, bison, pig, soft-nosed rhinoceros, straight-tusked elephant and water vole were found. What a barbecue that was.
