RE-CREATE A RETRO COMPUTER – OUT OF PAPER
Many miniature versions of once-popular computers and consoles have been released over the past couple of years, but none has been as small as the models created by Canadian artist Rocky Bergen.
He’s been hard at work creating tiny papercraft versions of past computers, making them available to download for free on his website, rockybergen.com/papercraft. All that’s needed is a printer, scissors, glue and some nimble fingers to fold the various flaps, and you’re also encouraged to share the patterns as you set about producing your own paper-based computer museum.
So far, there are re-creations of the Amiga 500, Amstrad CPC 464, Apple II, Apple – Lisa 1, Atari 520ST, Commodore 64, IBM 5100, IBM 5150, IMSAI 8080, Nintendo GameCube, Sega Master…
