After several weeks - indeed, months - of speculation, 15-time Major champion Woods announced on 5 January that he and his longest-standing sponsor had called it quits. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Woods reflected on his ‘partnership with one of the most iconic brands in the world’, thanking Nike chief executive Phil Knight for his ‘passion and vision’.
