A new study has ranked the healthiest fruits and vegetables in the world - and watercress came out on top, scoring a perfect 100 out of 100. Green veg dominated the entire top 10, made up of - in this order - Chinese cabbage, chard, beet greens, spinach, chicory, leaf lettuce, parsley, romaine lettuce and collard greens. When it came to fruits, red peppers were the chart toppers, then pumpkin, tomato, lemon and strawberries. The analysis looked at how much protein and fibre the fruits and veggies contained as well as a whole host of vitamins and minerals, including calcium, iron, potassium, riboflavin, folate, zinc and vitamins A, B6, B12, C, D, E, and K - and the green veggies were jam-packed.
