A recent survey has shown that, on average, UK mums have spent seven hours a day caring for their children during lockdown. And I’ve really felt that! I’ve got four children [Gabriella, 18, Rocco, 11, Renz, seven, and Ralphi, three] and it’s been full-on. If the past few months have taught me one thing, it’s that I’m not a teacher. Not only that, but I struggle with dyslexia, as does my husband [Burnley footballer] Phil and my son Rocco. So it’s been really hard – there have been temper tantrums and crying over school work.
