Richard Perry produced some of the biggest-selling and/or critically acclaimed albums of the 70s, 80s and beyond, including Harry Nilsson’s Nilsson Schmilsson and Son Of Schmilsson, Safe As Milk by Captain Beefheart, No Secrets by Carly Simon (including its signature global smash from 1972, You’re So Vain), and Ringo, the 1973 solo album by drummer Ringo Starr, which sold over a million copies and featured contributions from the other three former Beatles.
