“I acquired this car last year as a 2017 nut-and-bolt rebuild into a Lotus Evocation of what Ford should have built but with modern underpinnings,” says Mark of his stunning Anglia. “The engine, gearbox and Type 18-type carbs are from same 1966 Lotus Cortina, but the engine has been modified to 1700cc, with a Crossflow crankshaft, double-dowelled and lightened flywheel, 125E rods, Accralite forged pistons, big-valve head, L14 cams, custom stainless steel exhaust, bespoke sump and fuel tank.
