Welcome When the series creators were developing the characters for Minder and Only Fools And Horses, I don’t think there would have had much discussion about which car Terry and Del Boy should drive. The Capri is so inextricably linked to both characters (though they are both very different), that it’s almost as if the choice of car came first! THE BIG PICTURE LOST IN THE GARAGE They’re still out there! Last on the road nearly 25 years ago, this ripe-for-restoration, 1975-registered Escort RS2000 was recently pulled out of a garage on the south coast and is being readied for auction next month. The Mk1 is estimated at £20,000-25,000 when it goes under the Charterhouse hammer in their classic car auction being held at The Haynes International Motor Museum at Sparkford, Somerset on July 14.
