Almost unknown to private owners throughout the period, the Standard was really Ford's fleet car special, where Deluxe mechanical equipment was mated to a stripped-out interior, and very basic equipment; extras (and there were few) were always charged for. Not many were sold in four years, and precious few remain. Apparently only sold with the 1298cc engine.
