1925 Husqvarna Model 180
Charterhouse, June 6
Better known these days for its off-road machines, the Swedish Husqvarna concern stated producing motorcycles in 1903, and its road bikes were highly regarded. This 550cc side-valve machine features a V-twin engine and three-speed gearbox, both made in-house at the factory. Beautifully built and robust, the bike (also known as the ‘Solo Sportmodellen’) boasts Bosch magneto and generator as well as a hand oil pump for lubricating the final drive chain.
Restored to a high standard by the vendor, it is an extremely rare vintage machine. With only a handful thought to survive worldwide, it would make an excellent mount for the Banbury Run. charterhouse-bikes.com
