Grabbing the remote, I turned up the TV as the sound of my neighbour’s booming voice got louder.
‘I wish he’d just shut up,’ groaned my daughter, Sophie, 15.
It was May 2015, and since Philip Jackson, 36, had moved in next door, we’d grown used to his noise.
