Our Jack Russells Megan and her sister Molly, 3, were inseparable.
My hubby Brian and I decided to breed them.
Megan had a litter in April 2008, and Molly the following August.
Molly and the puppies had their own kennel, and Megan was in a pen alongside, in our garage.
One morning at 7am, Brian, 60, went to feed the new pups.
Only, the kennel locks had been chopped off, and just Megan remained.
‘They’ve been snatched!’ he gasped.
We printed posters, offered a reward, but it was useless.
We were devastated, and Megan pined for Molly for weeks.
Eventually, we lost hope of finding them.
Megan had more pups, and we kept Charlie, now 7, from one litter and Shelley, now 3, from the next.
