Looping the yarn over my crochet hook, I mentally counted each new stitch.
And soon, my next creation started coming together.
About time, too! I thought, relieved.
I’d spent two weeks on my project, dedicating every moment to it once my girls Lola, 12, Lydia, eight, and Ivy, six, were in bed.
But I wasn’t crocheting a cardigan, a pair of mittens or a cosy blanket.
Instead, I was bringing to life one of the most iconic films – Star Wars.
From Yoda to Princess Leia, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, R2D2 and of course, a white Stormtrooper, I made sure everyone was included, using Google as a reference.
I created my favourite characters But I wasn’t creating this crochet scene for myself.…
