They were from an animal shelter, to see if we could rescue a dog.
You see, in 2009, I founded Marley’s Mutts, here in California.
I rescued, rehabilitated, and trained hundreds of animals.
Many were close to death and in need of a safe home when we took them in.
I’d get messages from shelters all the time.
And this poor pooch Cora Rose, then four, had been in a car accident.
