‘Her head fell forward. She was unconscious and pale’ Please, someone, save my daughter and baby!
Angela Riley, 51, from Pickering, North Yorkshire
‘My back’s killing me, Mum’ said my daughter Katie, 19, as she slowly lowered herself onto the sofa.
It was no wonder she was uncomfortable. Katie was heavily pregnant and, though she was excited about having her first child, she was fed up with waiting.
‘Don’t worry, love, the baby will soon be here,’ I told her.
But in the next few days no baby came, and so Katie was taken into hospital.
Nine days overdue, Katie was given a drug to start her contractions. But it was still three days before she went into labour.
Luckily, apart from the delayed start, everything seemed to be going…
