Innisfail is situated on the Cassowary Coast in Queensland’s tropical north, between Cairns and Townsville.
GETTING THERE It’s just over an hour south of Cairns on the National Highway A1 or three hours north of Townsville.
ATTRACTIONS The colourful town is situated on two rivers and surrounded by lush rainforest, national parks, beaches and sugar plantations.
VISIT The Mamu Tropical Skywalk allows you to take a stroll through the rainforest canopy, taking in spectacular views along the way.
