Finally, it seems that fuel prices are starting to drop. However, they are very definitely dropping a lot more, and a lot more quickly, in some areas than others. And there can’t be many places in Britain where the contrast is greater than in my neck of the woods.
I live just outside Spalding, in South Lincolnshire. At the time of writing, the cheapest diesel is £1.50, and the more usual price is £1.53ish. This seems to be a bit above the typical average, which as far as I can tell seems to be between £1.43 and £1.46.
