Wheelhome launches all-electric micro-camper
Renowned specialist in the smallest campervans, Wheelhome, has launched its first fully electric model, the Vikenze III-e. The new camper, based on the Vauxhall Combo-e Life SE, will make its public debut at the Norfolk Motorhome & Campervan Show on 22–24 July, following extensive testing of the prototype by Wheelhome proprietor, Stephen Wheeler, including a 2,100-mile tour to Shetland and back from the company’s base in Essex.
With an overall length of only 4.4m, the Vikenze III-e is car-sized, especially as overall height with the electric pop-top lowered is just 1.84m. However, it comes as either a one or two-berth campervan, with up to four belted travel seats. The second single bed, when specified, is in the roof.
