Thirty years in aviation takes uncommon grit, know-how, more good luck than bad luck and, perhaps more than anything else, passion.
“I dream this stuff, subconsciously and consciously” says Lyndon R Gardiner, chair of interCaribbean Airways, adding that, after three decades, he has much more to offer. “I am not tired, I’m energised. Before the pandemic, we moved just over half-a-million people. ‘That same year, 4.6 million people moved around the region, so you can see there is a large gulf that we have to conquer. I’m very excited about what the future holds in terms of developing the business and offering opportunities for Caribbean people.”
