George Kendall Booklist’s January 1 & 15 issue is an exceptional showcase, both of great books and of Booklist’s outstanding editors. Our editorial team works throughout the year selecting, reading, assigning, reviewing, writing, and editing thousands of titles. As they do this great work, they skillfully shift gears to moderate Booklist’s webinars, meet with publishers, host podcasts, write features, craft e-newsletters, present at conferences, and collaborate on initiatives across the American Library Association (not to mention all sorts of other projects that I don’t have room to list).
