12 March 1995, Daytona Beach, Florida (the Daytona 200 Superbike Race). Scott Russell, number 4, on a Kawasaki, was the favourite but had a bad start. As a result, Carl Fogarty, number 99, on his Ducati, followed closely by Troy Corser, number 1, also on a Ducati, started to gain a commanding lead. Unfortunately, Troy Corser’s bike failed after 14 laps.
