Triumph’s first bike, powered by a 211cc Minerva engine is little more than a motorised bicycle, but it started the brand that now makes 72,000 bikes a year. The Hinckley factory is just up the road from the firm’s original base in Coventry. The factory museum features a timeline of the company’s greatest hits, with the ground breaking twins, made from 1937, heavily featured.
Owners, dealers, customisers
The displays aren’t just about bike history. There are also tributes to the owners, dealers, racers and customisers who’ve helped shape the brand. Green tanked bike is the TFC-1 Bobber, which was the winner of the 2014 Factory Custom competition, and influenced the creation of the production Bobber.
