Anyone can grow their own, no matter how limited the space. It’s a wonderful way to put fresh fruit and veg on the table, knowing it’s nutritious and delicious, and the only distance travelled is from the plot to the table. Everyone can have a go, and children love being involved. They’ll enjoy sowing large seeds such as courgettes, or planting strawberries – which are easy to grow and produce quick results.
