Californian phenomenon Justin Meldal-Johnsen’s career has blossomed into producing, musical directing, and songwriting over the years. His work with singer-songwriter Beck covers all bases; he’s been with the mercurial alternative-rock icon for three decades, both live, and in the studio. Meldal-Johnsen has also held down the low end for such top-notch artists as Air, Macy Gray, Jason Mraz, Goldfrapp, Robbie Williams, Pink, Tori Amos, and Kid Rock. He joined Nine Inch Nails’ touring band in 2008, flipping between bass, guitar, and keyboard on the Lights In The Sky, NIN/JA, and Wave Goodbye tours.
