Having begun in 1949 as a one-man operation making .30-caliber bullets in a small shop in Grand Island, Nebraska, founder Joyce Hornady could never have envisioned his company becoming the largest independently owned manufacturer of bullets, loaded ammunition and reloading equipment in the world.
