An old adage tells us that each person has two families: the one you’re born into and the one you choose. A third would be the one you marry into. If you’re lucky, your birth family is part of the one you choose. If you’re extremely fortunate, members of the family you marry into enter that inner circle as well. Instead of building something that looks like too many other motorcycles on the road, try building the bike you see in your dreams and not the one your friend saw in his. It’s okay to be different. It’s fine to stray away from the pack. It has been a long time since I had a gun pointed at me. An anxious cop from an Indianapolis suburb screamed at us, “Lie on the f—king ground, and put your hands behind your neck!” An entire squadron of cop cars pulled up, and there was a real possibility of getting shot. Matt is trying to tell the officers that the weapons aren’t real, but the more he tries to talk the more heated the situation gets. A cop places his foot on Matt’s back, and five other cops storm onto the bus to search for more weapons. Two sisters, Adeline and Augusta Van Buren, boarded their 1,000cc Indian Power Plus motorcycles setting out to ride across the United States of America. Why?
