The knell has tolled for the W12. By spring 2024, resources will be switched to making more hybrids as Bentley rushes into its electrified era. Naturally there’s a big send-off planned, with 740bhp and 738lb ft squeezed out of the last 18 units, to be used by the Mulliner Batur, which costs £2m and has long since sold out. The more relatable finale, though, comes in the form of the new Flying Spur Speed.
It supersedes the standard W12 model (while a new S replaces the standard V8), and if you want an underwhelming headline, here it is: nothing vital has changed in the process.
