Mercedes-Benz isn’t hanging around in the EV race. In fact, the EQB is the fifth it has launched in the past two years.
It’s based heavily on the GLB, and just like its ICE sibling, it offers seven seats as an option, which should give it a wider appeal than the Audi Q4 E-tron and BMW iX3, its key rivals.
The lesser of the two variants, the EQB 300, makes a combined 225bhp and 280lb ft of torque, while the EQB 350 offers 288bhp and 383lb ft.
Inside, the only obvious change from the GLB is the introduction of EV-specific graphics, which is to say it all looks and feels suitably posh.
