THE LONDON TAXI Company (LTC), maker of London’s iconic black cab, has been touring Europe’s capitals as a prelude to offering its all-new extended-range electric taxi, due next year, in markets around the world.
So far, LTC’s marketing team has been talking to city authorities in Oslo, Barcelona and Paris and has imminent plans for a visit to Berlin.
However, LTC chairman Carl-Peter Forster believes demand will also come from much farther afield, notably China, where LTC’s parent company, Geely, has its headquarters. “We also have high hopes for strong sales in Hong Kong and Singapore,” he said.
